This story really should be put on a show called coworkers and their strange life events.
one of the ladies that I work with(Brenda)comes to work at 5:30 to do the continental breakfast on the weekdays and I happend to be covering for June who usually worked the front desk on the weekdays in the morning.When I came in Monday morning this week Brenda was talking to Kris who is the lady that does graveyard desk. Anyway this is the story about Brenda that I heard from her.
Brenda was on the mountain with her exhusband and she caught her horse with some twine and was riding it to the trailer to saddle him up. The horse bucked her off and the twine got rapped around her thumb. Her thumb was hang by a tendon but interesingly enough it didn't bleed hardly at all. She got the thumb sewed back on and a couple of weeks latter it began to smell funny so she took the bandage off and her thumb was black, dead black. The doctors told her that they could make a new thumb from her femor bone or they could take her big toe off of one of her feet. So she decided to use her big toe as her thumb. The really interesting thing is that after a while the toe figured out that it was know a thumb and shead the tough skin and the toe nail and grow a new nail and smoother skin. Seriously if I hadn't of herd that story I would have never known her thumb was really her big toe.
